Has anyone been to the west rim of the Grand Canyon lately and seen the construction of the Skywalk. Any information at all?

Been to the North Rim and the South Rim of the Grand Canyon, but never to the West Rim.

Sky walk sounds interesting. Unaware of it.

Please let us know more.

Just went today-long story short-don't waste your time. Feel sorry for the Hualapai as apparently they will not get much benefit until the developer is paid off.

$75 but that is not the problem. More concrete than glass. Lunch sucs. Road in is 20 miles of rocks. Etc, etc. Waste of time. South rim is far superior!

I originally heard the price was $25, which was a little high, but I thought it might be worth it just for the experience. Then I found out it costs an additional $50 just to get onto the reservation. For $75 (and especially since I now find out about 20 miles of bad road, I think I'll pass. Dav5942, thanks for your input.

Wow.....$50 just to get on the reservation? How do they justify that? Is that some type of day fee or what?

For $50 you get to enter reservation(day fee) & drive 20+ miles of dirt to unfinished visitors center to spend the $25 for 15 minutes on "Skywalk" ! What a rip off. . . .
