Grand Isle La.

Has anyone stayed at Grand Isle La. state park. If so how did you like the park And the island. Thanks in advance.

I have flown out of Grand Isle recently and had a chance to visit the state park. It has been rebuilt since the last bad hurricanes and I was surprised to see the park as nice as it is. The sites and roads are black topped with some trees and grass. There is a fishing peer with fish cleaning tables. There are several dump stations but no sanitation at the campsites. The town is clean and well kept with lots of good food. Do Not speed in town, even a little bit. I have some pictures of the park, if I can find them I will post them. I would recommend staying there.
