Grapevine Texas

I'll be part of a group six or eight RV's heading for a retirement social in Grapevine the last week of April and have two questions: What do you guys recommend for RV parks in Grapevine area (the Vineyards has been suggested) and second question is should we expect it to be hot, as in needing 50 amp power for the air conditioners? Our socials will not be at the RV park but at a hotel complex so we don't need all the amenities provided by the Vineyards.
Thanks
Bob

I currently live a short way from Grapevine. It may be warm in April, but if you have 30 amps, you should be able to keep an RV cool. The real heat doesn't show up until late May or June.

You're somewhat limited in that area for RV parks but the Vineyards is certainly an excellent pick. Other places that are MUCH further away from Grapevine you may consider are Destiny (in Corinth) and Shady Lane (Carrolton). I'd avoid the latter if you can. It's adequate but no better. As to the weather, who knows? I can remember temps in the high 90s in March and snow in April. By that time of the year it should be in the 70s and 80s (or maybe higher). Coming from Oregon, I suggest that you be prepared to use your AC.

The Vineyards would be your best bet. Pricy, but convenient. Other parks require significant driving distance and time.

I don't know - I don't get there until April 25. I bet one of the members who have stayed there will answer that and if not I'll let you you in late April.
Safe Travels

We stayed at the Vineyards for a week last October. Very clean, well maintained and a pretty area. If I remember right, it is owned by the City of Grapevine

We don't remember hearing much noise from air traffic, it is pretty close to the Gaylord Palms.

We hit all 48 lower states and the Vineyards is in the top 5 nicest RV parks we've stayed at.

We were there for a week.
