Just returned home having spent 10 days spent between 2 excellent RV camps. First was "Dam Quarry"on the Northfork river below Norfolk lake. Numerous relatively flat sites able to accomodate tent sites to large motor homes. Water, elect, 1 dump site. Lovely setting and great trout fishing!. Depending on campsite location stationary tv antennae is dicey at best. Did I say great trout fishing? Reservations NOT accepted, however as kids are in school there seemed to be numerous sites available. We did arrive early on a Friday so managed primo site on river. Very courteous attendents. Second location was on the White River below Bull Shoals lake. Denton Ferry(private owners) Full hook-ups with cable that we didn't use. Very friendly owners with nice campsites accomodating all size RV's. Reservations accepted. Dam Quarry approx 20 minutes from Mountain Home and Denton Ferry approx 15 minutes from Mtn Home. Did I say good trout fishing on the White? Best day was 150 between guide (rick helmus 870-453-8071)and myself. We pulled out day before front hit as I didn't want to drive mountains in possible heavy rain. Highly recommend both sites.
