We have stayed at Heritage also. Very nice place, very nice people.

We will be headed for Gulf State Park Oct. 17th after Crusin The Coast ends in Mississippi. We will be there about 2 weeks. Looking forward to the stay. Hope the weather is good.

X2. oh by the way---if your going straight down on I-65, jump off interstate onto 59 around milemarker 18 I think in Alabama. we go this way from Lawrenceburg, we're just across river from you.

oops; just looked at a road map---showing milemarker 37 (not 18). someone correct me if I'm wrong again.

Seems like a lot of interest in Gulf Shores. It is one of our favorite destinations. If the timing is right try to attend the "National Shrimpfest". It is one of our 'must do' trips every year. It is held the second full weekend each year. This year it will be 9/11-9/14. We will be attending for the 35th year in a row, the last 20 in our RV.
Lots of great entertainment, crafts, seafood and cold beer. There is no admission. Held on the beach at the intersection of 59 and Beach Blvd. 10 minutes to the State Park Campground.
Let me know if anyone has attended in the past.

You must love crowds. Park out an take the shuttle in. It seems to get more expensive every year, but then so does my electric bill.
