Not exactly an ocean view but you can have a lake view with at short walk to the ocean at Gulf State Park. The sites are huge. Have fun!

O

If you like no frills camping you might like Bay Breeze RV on Fort Morgan Road. Small campground on the Bon Secour waterway (Mobile Bay). Sites 11 & 10 are the best. They are both right on the water.
Owners Paulette and Jerry will take good care of you. We stay there a couple of times each year.

There are no parks in Gulf Shores with ocean view. You can find that in Destin, ie: Campground on the Gulf. For the Gulf Shores area our personal preference if Bella Terra in Foley. You can get a nice lake front site where you can watch the mid-lake water fountains. Excellent pool, club house, work out room, etc. It's convenient to all the area activities. If you want to go a little further east to the Florida side, Perdido Cove RV Resort & Marina has sites overlooking the intercoastal waterway. Topsail Hill Preserve State Park in Santa Rosa Beach (Destin), FL is great with in the park access to the beach. We'll be there for a week in November starting on the 10th. Mention above by twogypsies, Gulf State Park is convenient to the gulf. Highly recommend that you make resevations now for any of the than as November is in the Snowbird Season. Things get filled up.

jumping topic because I don't know how to start new thread

so I do apologize and help for this will be appreciated as well as the following.
Being new to RVing, as of last October, we are considering wintering january and February in Florida. We have no need to be ocean or gulf side, more interested in an easy drive, couple of hours, to both Orlando and Sarasoto, having family in/near both. No pool necessary, but would like good cable, wifi access, electric, water and sewer on site. Also, would appreciate golf courses nearby, kayak opportunity reasonably near. Clean and friendly wouldn't hurt. Any and all suggestions appreciated.

We stayed at Gulf State Park when we visited Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Nice park. No ocean view sites, but a short drive or hike and you'll be on the beach.

They've added a nice pool and other amenities.

Heritage RV Resort in Orange Beach has great bay views and views of Ono Island as well as Perdido Pass. We stayed a week there in July and loved it, it's pricey but very very very nice. Class A only, small private beach, infinity pool, cub house with fire pit. I highly recommend Cosmos for dinner on Canal Rd just a few miles from heritage.

There is a new park under construction across beach blvdfrom the ocean, Buena Vista is the name , theyhad 11 spots ready in July. It will have a clubhouse on the park side of the road plus they have 140 ft of beach frontage with plans to build a beach clubhouse as well. I doubt they are renting yet but they are selling spots.

Hi there, when will you be at Henderson Beach? We are going to Maeher State Park in Spanish Fort, Al on 8/30 for a week and then on to Henderson SP. did you make reservations at Henderson or have you checked their vacancies? Haven't ever camped at Henderson, just drove thru several years ago. Hope we have good weather, maybe run into you.

We've stayed at Luxury RV Park in GS for the last 3 years. About a block and a half from the beach. You may want to check for rez - they fill up about that time of year.

We will be at Henderson the first week of Nov...We have never been there but I have heard good things about it plus seen some very good reviews....I think I made our reservations online thru their website....There were a lot of nice parks in the area and it was hard to decide just where to stay.....Enjoy your trip and be safe....

We just returned from Gulf SP today. It was amazing and very convenient to everything from beaches to shopping and dining. We stayed on the boat canal (Live Oak Dr). Great pull thrus with water views. At night you can see the high rise condos on the beach, but no noise...At half (or less) of the cost of the previously mentioned luxury resorts.
