Has anyone stayed at Birchwood Rv Park in Durham, NC

RVparkreviews.com has not posted a review on this park since 2011. The IRV2 site does not have a review on this park at all. If anyone has stayed there, please let me know. We will probably have to stay at least a week while I am at Duke Hospital. I realize there are long term folks at this park, but I would just like a little more current review. Thanks

Duke workers recommend this Park for patients.
Not an Amusement Park but for 170.00 weekly and even cheaper monthly you will be pleased with the service there.

Thanks for the info trackman. There is nowhere closer to Duke, so we will try this.
BFlinn181. The last two links helped. The first one was reviewed in 2011. I will review it after our stay. Thanks to both of you.

Spring Hill Park is a place you need to checkout! I stayed there for six while at VA hospital, people where great and the park is geared up for Duke & VA.
Birch wood looks like a trailer park/run down.

Thanks LRusty. Sounds nice, but we need to be closer to Duke. DH is not going to want to travel cross town to take dogs out etc. Birchwood would be alot easier for him.

LRusty, you were absolutely right. We decided to drive over and check out Birchwood before reserving. While it would have been closer to
Duke for my DH, I would not stay there. We drove through and were not one bit comfortable with this park. We then drove over to Spring Hill and they had one spot left, which we reserved for 2 weeks. It will be a little more difficult for my DH for the 3 days I am in the hospital, but I will feel so much safer while I recuperate. At Birchwood, I would not feel good about leaving the MH and our pets. Duke may recommend this, but they should probably rethink that. Thanks LRusty, I should have gone with your suggestion to begin with.
