Hatteras sands campground

Heading up there in a 44 ft class a next month. Any comments about the CG. Good or bad?

Many reviews mention it was run down, but new owners trying to improve. In a 44' Class A, I wouldn't think you'd need too much from the campground for comfort.

Thanks got the reply. Read the reviews. A lot of 2015 comments. Correct about not using the facilities. Girls I spoke with were pleasant and said they will make sure I will fit on the site. Like the location. Campgrounds farther north up in rodanthe but in past years of staying up there we spent a lot of time going back and forth to hatteras

Just spent a week here in our Dutchstar 4369. Sites are level and paved for coach, rest is grass. Campgroud is clean and well maintained. Not all sites have sewer but they do have a wagon that makes the rounds. Big, clean pool. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Close to the hatteras ocracoke ferry and ramp for beach driving.
