Headed to Lincoln to watch Huskers

We're leaving Wednesday to head back to Lincoln, NE for the kickoff to the 2010 Nebraska football season.

We're also planning to move back home (from Texas) in the next 1 to 1.5 years. Can't wait for cooler climes!

As a former Nebraska resident all I can say is "Go Big Red".

Well we just got back from our whirlwind trip.

One thing that was decided after having to drive through OK is that we're upgrading from the OEM Monroe shocks to Bilstein Comfort track shocks.

My teeth are still rattling from some of those horrible roads. What's crazy is they are part of the interstate system.

born and raised in nebraska so GO HUSKERS

now living in Oklahoma City for over 2 years and my god i have to agree with you about the roads!!! ALWAYS CONSTRUCTION but its on the sections that were fine to begin with!!!!! you took the enchanted I-35 though... Ever been on the Golden Brick I-40 westbound out of Oklahoma City towards Clinton.... YOU WON'T HAVE A TOAD LEFT! i have a 1995 blazer i pull behind me and it has a 4" drop in the rear and a 3" drop in the front, was doing 60 through I40 and all of a sudden heard a huge BANG! pulled over and found out how great safety chains are! ripped the mount of my tow bar off the frame of the blazer, blew out a shock, bent the crap out of my fender/bumper/hood and wheel well! i learned quick how much wider my RV wheels are than my blazer and started to hit them with the RV instead if i can't get out of the way! that was not a cool "first trip" we didn't get out of the city limits without going back home!!!

We're already plotting out our first Big 10 trip. It's either Happy Valley or the Big House. Hope to see some of you there!
