Headed to Yellowstone Saturday!

I'm so excited about this trip! 2-3 years ago we rented an RV and planned a trip there with friends that own an RV. The Wednesday before we were to leave, the campsites were still under several feet of snow (first week in June). So we detoured to Mesa Verde, Lake Powell and the Grand Canyon. That trip was so fun we talked and taked about buying an RV and finally pulled the trigger last September.

We're actually staying the first night in Thermopolis then driving in through Cody. We're steering clear of Fishing Bridge campground in favor of the more rustic spots. We're doing the whole figure 8 loop except for the section between Canyon Village and Tower Roosevelt. I read on here somewhere not to try that road in an RV.

Leaving through the Tetons and spending a night there, then heading back to Denver. I'll post a trip report and a few pictures upon my return.
