Smile Heading down to Pismo Beach, CA

We are heading down to Pismo Beach for the week, Nov. 4th. Any recommendations that won't break the bank? Has anyone stayed at the Holiday RV Park recently? Would you go back? Other Recommendations in the area? Are there any decent RV parks in the San Luis Obispo area?
Thanks for any suggestions.

Very fun area. You might try Pismo Coast Village, it's right on the beach very nice. It is and easy walk into downtown Pismo from here, lots of good resturants and shops. I also like Pacific Dunes Ranch RV this place backs up to the sand dunes, if you like walking in the dunes this place is great, they also have horses for rent to ride on the beach.
If you are there on a Thursday night go into downtown San Luis they have a great farmers market, very large all kinds of local produce plus all the local merchants and resturants take part. Have a fun trip.

Thanks so much for your recommendations. I've checked with both parks and like the idea of being close to the beach and also downtown Pismo. Will give a critique when we return.

I second the vote for Pismo Coast Village, Very nice. We spend the whole week of Thanksgiving dry camping on the beach at Oceano Dunes.

We've been to Pismo Coast Village twice. My wife and I in our class C and again with our 3 grandsons (1, 5 & 9) in our recently acquired class A. Nice amenities and great beach access.

We stayed at Pismo Coast Village when we had our 5er, spent a week there while we had the inside of our house painted. It is a nice park and everything is very convenient.
