Has anyone stayed up in the Moab,Ut. area and recommend a good Motorhome Rv park? Traveling with friends and both coaches are 35 foot plus? then on to Tahoe,Nevada...same question. Thank you.

Me. too, I'll be there 13-15 May for our annual visit to the Arches. I've stayed at Portals before and it is just ok. There have been undergoing a substantial upgrade to private lots, but I'm sure they still have some adequate spaces for the GP or you can rent one of the private spaces.
I'm staying at the Moab KOA this time because it has been rated pretty well by others and the web site looks decent (often something you should NOT pay a whole lot of attention to!).
While there are several RV parks in Moab, none stands out to me. All are adequate and will generally meet one's needs.

Thanks for the info. The Portals looks good on line as does the Spanish Trails. We have never been and are looking forward to seeing the sights.

I've stayed at the KOA but prefer Canyonlands RV Park. It seems more open and spread out.
Here's a link to both private and Public RV parks in Moab. There is also a lot of good info.

I'll be there end of May till early June. Have fun.

We stayed at Canyonlands last summer. It is in town and within walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Stayed at KOA last March...
It's a little deep past town, but clean and quiet
I'll have to try the canyonlands

We will be in Moab around the 13th for a few days. How full are the RV parks at this time of year?
