Heading to Palm Springs this weekend, RV parks?

I have to go to the RV Toy store for shade manufacture and install, it appears they sent the wrong kit for my coach. Soooo, We like the Nest in Palm Desert and Sammy G's downtown P.S.. I'll be towing my Myers Manx out for toad transpo, not great on freeways but good for Hwy 111 and such. If anyone;s familiar with the area, do you have an RV park we can try? We're not too picky, we'll be touring most of the day.
We have a nicer older coach as pictured, not Sanford and Son, not Trumpy either.

Outdoor Resorts looks quite nice. Being local I've had no need to go in there, but it appears to be a typical Palm Spring "Country Club" type of neighborhood, but for RVs.

Desert Shadows is right next door to them as well. I know Desert Shadows is 55+, I don't think Outdoor Resort is though. Their summer pricing is pretty reasonable.

If you can't find anything there you can look for RV resorts off of Dillon Rd. Dillon Rd parallels I-10 on the east. There are a lot of RV Parks along that road. Most of them are about 10 minutes or so from Cathedral City/Palm Desert?Rancho Mirage etc.

I just did a quick snip of the map showing RV resorts on the other side of I-10.........
Sams Spa and Catalina Spa look like proper RV resorts when I drive by. Two Springs resort looks fairly nice when I drive by as well. It's right on N. Indian Canyon Rd so you have a straight shot into Palm Springs from there, and there is a Pilot right up the road. The Pilot is about as cheap as gas gets down there unless you head down to Costco or Sams club.

Check out Sands RV & Golf Resort in Desert Hot Springs. Hardly anyone here now. We will be leaving Sunday. It is close to PS and as DW says on the cheap side of the 10.

The nicest in the Coachella Valley is Motorcoach Country Club in Indio (yes, I am slightly biased). Outdoor Resorts is across the street and nice.

More central to Palm Springs is Emerald Desert, which is good also. There is a park right in Palm Springs that would be very convenient, some friends of ours stayed there a few years ago and it was okay. I think it was called Happy Traveler.

Anything North of I-10 may be cheaper, but not too convenient and if it is windy in the area you will feel it there. (That is why they put the windmills where they do!)

We were just in Palm springs a month ago and checked out every RV spot for future visits. I don't recommend Happy Traveler. It's right in town, but the spots are really small/tight.

Sands RV was nice, but a bit out.

We loved Emerald, but we love to golf and the property was pristine.

The Thousand Trails park looked nice as well.
Check out this guys website as he has info on most of the parks in the area.

The Happy Traveler was excellent for our tastes. It's at the south end of Highway 111. The park was clean, pool was uncrowded and the jacuzzi was clean. This is going to be our go to place in Palm Springs with room rates approaching $200.00 bucks and higher on weekends.
$55.00 a night, cash or check only. You can crawl home from Pete's Hideaway just up the street!
