Heading towards Harrisburg area

IC2 Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2010 Posts: 383	In a couple weeks we will be heading towards Harrisburg/Hershey/York/Gettysburg, PA for about 5-7 days. We were looking for a general area and camp ground to make our home base and Gifford Pinchot State Park came up as an option. It ends up being fairly reasonable and is more or less centrally located off I-81 /I-83 (two of my least favorite roads). Is this a good choice, being "officially" off season? Of course we are open to other suggestions. Thanks __________________
