Surprised no one has responded to this yet . . .
Sequoia NP . . . My recommendation is that you use a park in the Visalia area & drive your Jeep up. We used Country Manor about 2 years ago. The RV park is nothing special, but it was safe & quiet. Still a good drive up to Sequoia but well worth it.
As far as LA goes, you'll have to be a lot more specific. Pretty big place. I can recommend Anaheim Resort near Disneyland. There's one in Long Beach also that we checked out that we will use at some point.

I would suggest you post here for your answer:

Camping Locations, Plans & Trip Reports - iRV2 Forums

We have stayed here: http://www.sequoiarvranch.com/

We have a review in campgrounds.

I think you would fit here but call and confirm. Just a few miles from the entrance, but the main attractions are an hour away on a very winding road. No the MH won't make it.

We live out in our old van. Travel all across this land. Drive until the city lights dissolve into a country sky, me and you - hand in hand.

Yea, LA is a pretty big place. There's a Dockweiler Beach RV (not the state park) that's near Long Beach, I think the city is Playa Del Rey. LA is not rv friendly and there's not much there. There's a Malibu RV park, but I think the sites are pretty tight. Further north is Pismo Beach, it's nice up there.

If you are looking for a spot that is nice, full hook ups, and large spots with plenty of room, try East Shore RV Park at Puddingstone Lake in San Dimas. It is freeway friendly to attractions in both Orange County and LA County. It is a great spot to park your MH and go exploring in your Toad. Last time we stayed there is was $48 a night with AAA discount.

I grew up here, live near. Try Ventura RV Resort...a little further to main attractions, but nice. If you're military..Point Mugu NAS, private beach. Valencia has an RV park near Magic Mountain.not sure of places down south by Disneyland. Malibu RV park, and in Long Beach by the Queen Mary. Wish there were more RV parks..learn land is just too expensive I guess.
