If you like using the board walk between the two camp grounds at this State park you need to call 850-245-2157 or get on web (floridastateparks.org) and ask for funding for repair of board walk. Ranger at park say they will have to close it soon because they do not have funds to relpace flooring. So please take time to call or email them.

Where did you hear this?
We were there in December and the boardwalk didn't look that bad. Some of the boards were a bit rough, (don't use bare feet!) but I didn't see any rot.
We're heading back in May to make sure that it really does get warm in St Joe; it was in the 20's and 30's when we were there!
