We are leaving for Yellowstone this weekend for a 2 week stay. 1 week in bridge bay and 1 week in grants village.

Grant & Bridge Bay are really close together. I'd try for Bridge Bay and leave early to arrive by 8-9am at one of these:

Madison (with our 40' MH we secured a cancellation site)

Tower Falls - first come sites
Mammoth - first come - (with our 40' MH we always got a site & it's a very nice campground)
Indian Creek - first come and would be nice with your small RV

So we stayed at Grants, and Bridge bay. Both were nice but Bridge bay was the nicest, secluded campground we have ever stayed, Sure loop A-D were mostly parking lot sites but the entire rest of the campground was very nice. We seen several Elk in the park also. I highly recommend Bridge bay.

Thanks for returning with an update. Wish more folks would do that! Yes, Bridge Bay is nice. We lucked out on a site with trees and a big pull-through...we just drove in.... no reservations. Sounds like you had a good time.
