Hermosa, South Dakota
We are now here at Heartland Rv park in Hermosa, South Dakota for 2 weeks. There are not a lot of shade trees but has a Pool and Hot Tub. All Pull Thru's This will be our home base to see Sturgis and Deadwood and Custer State park and Mount Rushmore. We left this morning from The Little Bighorn and we had Bad Head and Side wind all the Way. We are glad we got here safe.

I stayed there a coupla weeks ago. Nice park, but you will tire of the noise from RT 79. Trust me on this,

If you are in the park you can see from the intersection with 37, then try the pizza there on the left as you turn toward Custer. Surprised to find good pizza in SD, but there it is

Must sees. Custer State Park Wildlife Loop, Scenic Drive and Iron Mtn Rd. All in you toad. Also Spearfish Canyon Road from West of Lead to Spearfish. Sundown show at Mt Rushmore. Wasn't too impressed with Sturgis, but maybe the calm before the storm before Bike Week arrives.

Yes we heard it last night but we had Hail so that took the noise away.

I'm pretty sure it's Hwy 36. And, yes, the pizza is very good, and a good value!

36 or 37 - I'm old, the pizza is good, the area is wonderful, and the man found it. All is well. Thanks for the correction.
