Depends on when you visit and your interests. If you are young at heart or with kids, large amusement park. Chocolate World to learn how to make candy. 5 star restaurant and rose gardens at Hotel Hershey; also large RV show in September, hockey in the winter, beautiful theater which has stage shows and movies with a large organ recital (must check schedule for these events), about 45 minutes from Lancaster County, 60 minutes from Gettysburg. Camp grounds are close in most directions, suggest checking CG books for your likes and dislikes.

great Penn Dutch type food, nice people. Be advised this is an aniv year for Gettysburg so check in advance. Artillery Road Campground (?) has a stable the offers horse back tours of the battlefield. Wonderful experience

I live 20 minutes from Hershey. People come from all over to go to Hershey Park, Chocolate World. It is also close to Lancaster, PA (Amish) and as others have mentioned only about an hours drive from Gettysburg.

Not sure if I would make it a week long destination, but something for a day or two coupled with the other areas nearby.

Let me know if you have any specific questions about anything.

Take the trolley tour. Its well worth the price.

You get free candy, and you will learn a little about the Hersheys. You have to respect someone who turns over his fortune to a school he founded to help under-privileged kids.

Hey, eat more S'mores, help an at-risk youth!
