Hershey Meadows is nice and close..... there are trains which run close to the campground. This does not deter us from staying there. Several campgrounds around Lancaster, which gives you about 1/2 hrs. ride or so. Last year we stayed at Flory's and drove up. We did buy at the show.

Alternatives would be also to stay in Gettysburg...... campgrounds

Roundtop and Drummer Boy, easy access to highway or Gettysburg Campground or Gettysburg KOA.

In Maryland...... Happy Meadow (aka Morris Meadows) close to I-83.

All about 50 miles away.

You might try dry camping right at the show. We did a couple of years ago. I think it was $25 a night. You camp in a parking lot set aside for campers. Call them to find out.

We have dry camped at the Pa RV show parking lot for several years. It was convenient. Open your door and a short walk to the entrance. No traffic hassles. There is an area in the parking lot separated from public parking that is used to park the RVs. No reservations required and there are generator and quite time rules. See you there.

Safe travels and THE JOY IS IN THE RIDE
