Stayed the week of the 2014 RV Show. Pros: CG clean, reasonably priced, shuttle service super-convenient and reliable; pet friendly! Great store with coffee and amenities. Also a great place to see a huge variety of RV units and see how real folks live in the class A, the pop-up, the class B or the giant DP. I am guessing that folks bought at the show or planned on trading something in! Cons: desk personnel booked improper size site for our RV which caused us to go back after check in and have them locate us another site-- they would not give us the site we sought as "it wasn't available for the time we were staying". Perhaps folks didn't show up but that preferred site stayed empty the whole time we were there. Staff was a bit "uppity" in my opinion and not apologetic about the error--it just seemed odd. Pool was closed as of Labor Day but weather was conducive to it being open a bit later than that. Also notable on neutral ground: train was noticeable and I felt for those along the "top line" adjacent to the tracks. At times, one could smell chocolate in the air-- REALLY! Lastly, only 45 mins away from Amish town for family-style sit down dinner; a tour of Tom Sturgis pretzel factory in Lititz, PA, and the Wilbur Chocolate factory -- both tours were free!
2002 Damon Challenger / Heading for FT someday!
