I canceled my reservations once I took a drive up and found the site I was given. We walked the Pet friendly loop and reserved #189 for a three day weekend. The sites to the north and on the outside of the loop seem best.

I'll walk over and say hey since we'll also be there that weekend in #186. This weekend we're over at Seven Points Campground on Raystown lake in PA. What a great place this is! Monday we relocated to a spot right on the lake. What a way to wake up.

Sometimes the site length stated can work the other way. We reserved a site in a Florida state park that was 40', the length of our rig. When we got there that was not a problem except for a large tree limb overhead at the rear preventing us from backing in all the way. The sewer hose would not reach so we used the macerator and garden hose. The tiny toad just barely fit in front.

Any time we are at a CG we look around carrying the park map and check off sites that fit our needs. It's that first visit that is a crap shoot.

Have you been to the newly reopened Pickerel Point in Promise Land State Park? We spent a weekend there two weeks ago and that place is absolutely spectacular! They even made about a dozen of the sites full hookup.
