Hidden Campground

If you are ever in the Elizabethtown/Fort Knox, KY area, i have just come across a campground that is not advertised anywhere,at least I have not found it except on the citys web site. it is a small campground in the city of Vine Grove at the Optimist Park. Parks & Recreation in Vine Grove, Kentucky

it has about 20 sites, not real big, (had no problem with my DP) but super clean, shady and quiet, bath house was spotless. there are soccer games on some evenings till about 7PM nearby, otherwise you own the park. They are installing 20 more new sites closer to the ball fields right now. here is the best part, currently $15 per night, and after 4 nights it goes to $14. 30AMP with great water pressure and they have a dump station. They do take reservations.

Thanks for the info. I once had to stay in that area and the only campground I could find was out in Bardstown, KY.
