High Priced Camp Sites

Folks we need to start our own camping business.... That is, find out who lives where and when their privately owned site is available.

Most folks have a place at their home that has water, elect, sewage. Agreements could be made to stay at these sites.

I have my Newmar coach parked under an eighteen by forty RV Carport and have elect water and sewage available.

We could find someone to stay at ours while we stay at theirs. We live on the coast of NC and love to go to the mountains. It seems that everyone who lives in the western part of the state want to go to the east coast and people on the coast want to get to the western part of the state.

Love to hear some comments (recommendations/suggestions) regarding this issue.

sounds good almost like car pooling. lol i have been here few months, an from what i see, many here have already made a good friendship out of it. just a matter of getting a with b an c with d unless a wants to visit c. but would be something to further inquire abt. im in fla, but have no elec/sewer.

This is the link I'd recommend. She started a website very similar to the one you're suggesting. It's not a swap site, but rather a spot you can list your property as available for free camping. You can put requirements on there too.

The swap idea you're talking about is a little different, but could be incorporated the same way.

That is a good idea. It even could expand to a Bed and Breakfast type thing but for RV network. We have one locally that is word of mouth type fly in B&B for people with small planes.

It sounds like an interesting idea but one of the reasons that we like camping is the socialization aspect. We love to walk the campgrounds, meet people and also look and admire coaches that are out of our price range! Don't get me wrong we occasionally Walmart it when traveling to our destinations but once we get there we typically setup camp. We have met some of the nicest people camping and next to irv2 it's a great way to get ideas and help if you need it.
