Agreed. Did it in the MH...once. Won't do it again.

we started to do the zip lining, but with the weather as nice as it was i did some R&R finally. we ended up on site 54, good spot. of course we had to try the sunday buffet breakfast at the dutchman, ate too much...we did do about 15 miles of hiking thru the hills. i wish we still had a few more weekends to enjoy the weather. i am holding off winterizing the RV until the last minute, I blew the lines out for now.

How was the tree color over there? HH has some of the best color in the state this time of year. With the rain & cold coming tonight, I'll bet what's left on the trees will be down by the weekend. I wouldn't be surprised if there's a freeze warning in that area come Sat PM into Sun AM. It's going to be below freezing here & it's always much colder down there in Logan.

Lori,

it was probably one of the better fall colors than i have seen in the past. this was the first time being there. we usually go down to the Smokies for a fall weekend.

we lost about all of the leaves last week. wind and rain. seems they all came down overnight. all of the rain does make for some nice waterfalls. we migrated here about 25 years ago and do not ever plan on leaving. except for Jan. Feb. and March in sunny Florida.

With all the rain & wind this fall the fall colors have been short lived.

Here in NE Ohio we set a all time record (140 years) for rain fall back 10 days ago. We are now at 55+ inches for the year. The old record was 53, and we still have 2 months to go in the year.
