Heading down to Homestead on Sunday but not staying the night. They told me you can park in free parking with an rv but no other info. Anyone know how they handle rv parking in the general parking lots for a day of tailgating.

I have only gone by car coming from the south, from Overseas Hwy to Palm Dr. As you approach the track plenty of people directing traffic and big fields to the right to park. They run shuttle trams through the parking lots to save the walk. It sounds like your coming from the north but as good a job as they do from the south side I'm sure you will not have a problem getting in and parked.

Thanks. Yea I was wondering if they put rv's in a certain section of the lots or would leave a space open next door to have room for awning and stuff.

FYI if anyone would like to do this in the future. Yes rv parking in the general parking lots was free. They put the rv's in the back of the lot with all the room you wanted, to set up for tailgating. Got there at 9am and stayed till around 9:30 pm when all the traffic cleared. Nice day!
