Houston - northlake & westlake rv

Can't find too much on the Internet about these two RV resorts in Houston. We have reservations at both during August. Anyone stayed at either of these?

We stayed at Westlake on Clay Road this past December for 3 days. Real nice park, easy to get in and out of. We have family in the area, so it's very convenient. You'll like it!!

I understand! We live in New Orleans! We have some clients to visit in Houston and then going to visit friends in Austin. Instead of flying into Houston, staying in a hotel, etc - we thought we might make it an adventure instead of just work!

Westlake is a newer nicely run park. The managers, David and Carol are great and they do enforce the rules. Problem is there is a lot of SKY and no shade. The trees are about 3" in diameter and maybe 8 feet tall. After a month and the heat, we moved to the north side at Spring Oaks. No pool here, and Wifi is marginal at best, but a nice quiet place with shade.

Thanks, we will be at Northlake for two nights and westlake for one. We also have reservations at Pecan Grove in Austin for two nights. I'm sure the air conditioner will get a work out.
