Houston RV'r looking for Campers to join us

We love to go camping with in 50 miles of Houston but can not seem to find anyone who likes to do the same. If you are interested in joining us to go camping on a weekend to a campground with full hookups and level campsites please get in touch with us.

We get bored camping by ourselfs all the time. We really like camping at Conroe KOA, Rayford Crossing and love the San Jacinto Riverfront Rv park in the Highlands.

The clubs have been going to far for us with just a 2 night campout. By the time we get off work and drive there the night is over and all we have is Saturday.

Afraid I don't know of any. Most of us want to get a bit farther away from Houston. We do like to go to Steven F. Austin SP, Cagle Recreation Area, Lake Livingston SP, Lake Texana SP, Country Place. Not all of them are full hook up though.

Some us around here do like to take off for a quick weekend close by, so post down in the Texas Boomers section. I don't care for Conroe KOA and Rayford is too snooty about our restored 22 year old trailer.

We don't normally do the full hook ups, but am open to the places you mentioned. We go to Sommerville quite often as we have a boat there. (lake is dry as we speak). The COE have just remodled Rocky creek and it is pretty nice with large spaces, and only an hour from the N/W side of Houston
