Hunting Trip Help

I would like to get the HECK out of the Michigan winter weather and head south west where it is warm enough that I can use the 5er without having any freeze up problems.
Looking for a place to stay that in my free time I can do some coyote hunting.
Have been a heavy equipment operator and would work for free if some rancher needed some help in exchange for letting me park and help with his coyote problems.
Thanks for any help or ideas.
Joe

I don't know where you can go but I would say that Calif will not be on the list. Great desert for camping but really no open range for the hunting you seek.

We even had 3 come to the beach at lake mead and would not! go away (no fear) put our dogs and us back on the boat and went else ware . And no you can not shoot them in the park but they are all over in the desert around the park . check for sure but i don't think you need a license and no season i think!

Hey Joe. We have a similar plan. We are currently hunting the Big Horn Basin area in Wyoming We will be headed south as the weather dictates.

I will send you a private message. Perhaps we could hunt together sometime.

Many ranchers are leaving the coyotes alone to help keep the ground rodents in check. Have fun.

Try going to Texas to help them with their hogs.

Just remember to read the hunting regs. Some places you can act for the rancher no lic needed others you need one to shoot flies. AZ has a lot of yote country. I just can't pass on the ground squirrels. You always need to be prepared for a charge of sabre toothed ground rats.
