No big climbs. Rifle Gap State Park is very nice.

There is two semi steep but short grades. With pull off at the tops. First one coming out of Rifle near mile marker 9-13 about 4 to 5 miles prolly a 4 to 5 % grade. Then same grade down other side but prolly only 1 or 2 miles. Some other small grades till you get to Meeker.
From Meeker to Craig you got another grade about the same as the last about half way. It may push a 6% near the last 2 miles.
First grade out of Rifle has a pull off near top on right side. Second grade out of Meeker has a pull off I believe it is on the left side near the top.
Fuel prices in the Rifle area are high. Not sure which way your coming from. Grand Junction is a good .25 cents cheaper most the time then Rifle. Meeker had a station that was atleast .15 cents cheaper then Rifle.
There was some road construction but not sure now. But it was only a few miles.
No place for fuel or food between Rifle and Meeker or Meeker or Craig.
Hyway 13 is notorious for big game killed on Hyway at night.

Hope this helps.
