Hwy 2, Upper Peninsula to Glacier National Park

We are looking at taking Hwy 2 from St Ignace, MI to Glacier National Park in early August. Ive got some ideas for the UP, but looking for places to stop and things to do between Duluth and Glacier.
Thanks for your ideas,

For Duluth here are some ideas: https://wheelingit.us/?s=duluth

Also on their site look at the top line for camping reviews and you might find some others along the way. They are listed by state.

One place we really enjoyed was Ft. Peck Corp of Engineer park after just crossing into Montana.... big sites and a nice place to relax.

Hwy 2 is a very nice way to get across.

I've got Ft Peck Lake marked. It looks good.

Thanks for the ideas and link.

You could plan a stop in the Bemidji, MN area. Visit the headwaters of the Mississippi at Itaska State Park. https://www.stateparks.com/itasca_st...minnesota.html
Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox statue. https://www.visitbemidji.com/what-to...l/paul-bunyan/
