I-70
Does anyone know if I-70 is open to MH west of Denver. All my route builders divert off of I-70 for around Grand Junction. Any reason???

www.cotrip.org will provide you the highway information for CO. don't see I-70 being shut down, too many truckers use that interstate.

Absolutely open to MH and trucks. It's totally closed at this moment at Eisenhower Tunnel due to an accident, but otherwise no restrictions for MH's.

Thanks for the information. I am planning trip and my road trip navigator will not route me on I-70 for some reason.

Is there an LP restriction at one of the tunnels, perhaps? I know our GPS will refuse to route us through certain states if I put in our true length (it seems a number of states have statutes limiting the length of a motorhome to 40', whether or not they enforce it???), same for routes with LP restrictions, although that's not a problem with our current all electric coach.

I'd be curious how your navigator routes you. I've been all over western CO and UT and if you have an easier route than I-70, I'd like to hear about it!

Just have to watch the ski resort traffic West bound Fridays, Saturdays and East bound on Sundays for the next 2 weeks. Might be late in the ski season, but most close about the 10 or 15 of April.
