I-75 South between Macon GA and Florida

Rumor has it that all of the RV parks from Macon South into FL on I-75 are slammed with snow birds taking their time heading home.

Hopefully they start migrating North shortly as I am headed that way in 3 weeks and planned on an overnight stay in that general area.

Last Saturday we came down I-75 and North bound was moving very slow. 10 to 25 MPH. Freeway looked like a parking lot. One 60 mile stretch we counted 228 camper. once past Gainesville, FL there are lots of places to stay. some better than others. Safe travels... ed
