I-90 Seattle to Boston - Any Must-See stops?

In early September, we are heading east for more than 3000 miles of I-90 travel.

Is the anything you would say "Don't Miss It" along that route?

THANKS in advance...for any tips.

Lot's to see and Do - Pretty Sure that trip would take me about 6 months, and I would not stay on I-90. - -

Not a winter trip. - - -

Good Luck,

Devils Tower, Eastern WY
Mt. Rushmore, Rapid City SD
Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland OH
Niagara Falls, Buffalo NY
Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown NY

All within 20 miles or less of I-90. If you expand a bit more, lots more stuff.....

Regards.

Someone beat me to mentioning that the Rock Hall is just off the highway in downtown Cleveland, OH. If you've never been there it's worth a trip!

You do Understand the Message in My Post? -

Left coast to East Coast is a long trip and should be Stretched out. -

Just too much to do to Hurry across the Country in the RV. -

If you just need to be on the East Coast for an Event - fly out - Do the Event Fly Back. -

Sorry but that's the way I think.

Best of Luck.

Note; we still fly Often as the RV/Coach is for Enjoying the Days, taking in the Drive - Just one Man's Opinion.

I agree with what has already been mentioned. I would add Custer State Park and Crazy Horse while you visit Mt. Rushmore. A short visit Badlands National Park is recommended. It isn’t Yellowstone. It is just a cool place. The falls at Sioux Falls are neat too!

Great tips - along with all the others. I have my research cut out for me!

I didn't know about Crazy Horse - what is that?

THANKS

Maybe I didn't understand your message. Sorry! We have about a month - for the trip out - that's all we've got. Then we will fly back.

Did you mean that September is too far into winter for I-90? Or were you just saying that a month is not enough time?

THANKS for your reply.

Good Luck,

What routes/roads would you recommend instead of interstates from about Elkhart west to Rapid City? Also, ND is only state not on our travel map. Anything there worth a detour?
