I80 Big Rig Campgrounds?

We are planning our trip to Pueblo and just wondering if along i80 from Newmar any big rig friendly campgrounds not too far from the interstate?

Have traveled this section of I80 many times. One little gem we found was in Sydney Nebraska. It is the headquarters for Cabelas, and they have a full service campground that has nice grassy pull throughs. First come, first serve, but only about $10-$15/nite. A little confusing for check-in, but basically you just grab a site, then walk over to the main store and pay at customer service.

You didn't state where you're traveling from but if it's from the east to west to Pueblo I'd suggest dropping down to Hwy 50 heading west before you get into the Denver mess. Hwy 50 is a good highway. In fact, it's a beautiful drive across Colorado if going that way.

Use campgroundreviews.com Pick a town you're heading for and it will show the RV parks along with nearby towns.

With our 40' motorhome we never had a problem not fitting - even in public parks. Some of the smaller towns along secondary highways even have some great city parks with RV facilities. When entering a state, stop at the first Welcome Center and get the camping info.

Have a good trip!

I am assuming you are traveling from Newmar,Ca if that is the case I can recommend in Winnemucca NV, Winnemucca, Nevada Campground | Winnemucca / I-80 KOA and in Evanston Wy Home - Phillips RV Park these are where we stop when traveling east.

I assumed it was from the Newmar plant with a new rig - I've never heard of Newmar CA
