North of I-80, halfway between Cheyenne and Laramie, exit is marked as Vedauwoo. Top of the pass between the two cities.

RV Writer -
Just looked up "Vedauwoo Campground" and got following instructions on the USDA/Forest Service CG THREAD "15.8 miles west of Laramie on I80 at Vedauwoo Riad exit 329 go to stop and turn onto Vedauwoo Rd (east) and go 1.2 miles and turn left at sign and go 0.3 miles to camp ground if you wish to camp there. Otherwise head down dirt road and find one of a half a dozen or more pulloffs for dispersed camping. We have dispersed camped on that dirt road with a 34' fifth wheel a number of times. It is a major rick climbing area

Thanks again Reed. I went to google earth and checked the whole area out. Saw lots of places in and out of the campground. Since we are leaving Denver the week before Memorial Day, hoping it isn't full of people. We are also leaving in the middle of the week so should be ok I hope

We were three years ago and two Bull Moose fought for 45 minutes and came within 25 meters of our fifth wheel. We were on north side of road about a mile east of the CG

Is the Walmart at exit 102 (I-80) in Rock Springs OK for boon-docking. The day before we'll be boon-docking at the Cabela's in Sidney NE. I figure it's about 355 miles.

Then were heading north up 191 towards the Tetons. Still looking for a campground south of the Tetons maybe along route 191 for a night that has full service. Pinedale ?

A couple of people earlier in the thread said they stop at that Walmart so probably good to go. Free campsites.net shows some camping along 191 near pine dale - which is what we are going to try to do as well we leave about May 22nd or so. If I go before you I will update what I find

Last night I pre-planned my trip across the country from Ohio stopping at 3 Walmarts and a Cabela's. The last Walmart there in Rock Springs WY.. My next stop going north on 191, I'm trying to find a private campground somewhere near Pinedale with full hook ups to "re-charge", do laundry. dump and fill fresh water before trying to get a site in the Tetons at Gros Ventre campground.

The only private campground I have seen / researched so far with decent reviews was Highline Trail Campground just south of Pinedale WY. on 191. Any thing to add?

We plan to leave OH. mid May...
