"Ideal" Campground
Different campgrounds appeal to different people, and after 2+ trips I've learned what is most appealing to my wife and I. We're currently in Reno, heading to SF and then moseying down to Phoenix, to leave in mid-Oct. I'd appreciate suggestions for campgrounds that offer the following, in order of importance:
1. Spacious views....desert, ocean, grass, whatever.
2. Quiet
3. Clear dry air, blue skies, mid-60's to low/mid 80's in temp. now.
4. Wi-Fi or good 3G 4G signal
5. Dump station/fresh water
6. Friendly people.
We've really enjoyed Avila Beach (right above the beach on the road), Goose Island, TX (waterfront), Goose Island, UT (near Moab), Fall Creek Falls, TN and Country View, Ogallalla, Nebraska.
Your suggestions would be appreciated.

Right now we're staying at Sanborn CG in Saratoga while spending time with kids/grandchild (in Santa Clara/SF).

Check out Half Moon Bay State Park. Beautiful CG just south of SF. Buckskin Mtn SP in Parker, AZ is also one of our favs. May be a hotter there now though.
Probably can't get into either on the weekend, if weekday OK give them a try.

Mesquite campgroud in Death Valley - definitely do the Scotty's Castle tour; Anza Borrego State Park, southern California, any of the Maricopa County parks in the greater Phoenix area; and any of the state parks in Arizona - favorites are Lost Dutchman, Catalina, Kartchner Caverns but all are excellent for big RVs. Gilbert Ray campground in Tucson Mtn. Park. These may not have ALL of your requests but they're all beauties.

twogypsies: Thanks for the rec's. I've also discovered the boondocking thread, and found still more nice places. This is a great resource!
Thanks again.
