We slowed to about 40 mph with the traffic. The coach did quite well. The biggest issue was traffic that would zip around us. And our windshield kept icing up. I would run the washer till it would melt the ice.
Had just maybe 20 mile of this and it went back to wet roads. So your probably used to snow in Illinois so you should be OK. The coach will handle it fine. For sure something I would never intentionally drive into tho.

Thanks, Russell. Just bought some extra washer fluid today just in case. At the moment, it looks like we're going to really luck out on the weather westbound to California...no snow or or extreme cold expected on our route. Coming back could be a different story; it's too far out to predict at this point. On the other hand, we won't be worried about being anywhere for a celebration, so we can just hole up someplace and wait it out. Call to boss... "About that meeting...." Hopefully that phone call would be placed from someplace warm, like Palm Springs or Mesa.
