We are planning a quick trip to North Carolina this week-end and have been looking for a place to stay around Fancy Gap Virginia. We have settled on Utt's Campground. Has anyone been there? I've been tricked onto tiny little roads in the hills before. Some that I'd be afraid to take a car much less a 35' A class. I've checked the reviews here and RV Park Reviews website and have found very little.

I was going to suggest over near Galax is a VERY VERY nice park on a lighted Par 3 golf course called Deer Creek RV Park. We had a great site right on the the 6th green (I think it was the 6th). They have a driving range and Putt-Putt as well. Not far off the Parkway. In Galax there is a GREAT place for BBQ (Smoke House I think).
