Indiana Dunes - slide out "not allowed"?

Just booked two different sites through Reserve America at Indiana Dunes #46 and #57 and noticed not until checkout that site 57 says in the fine print "slide out/tip out not allowed". Then went back to site 46 fine print and that says slide out allowed. Anyone heard of such a thing or if you have camped there have you been told you cannot use your slides?

It might be that there is a obstruction such as a tree or the electric pole that is close to the site pad to allow a slide out room to open. I'll see that this a lot in the state park site descriptions, but usually it will they say something like "DRIVER SIDE, PASSENGER SIDE AND REAR SLIDE OUTS PERMITTED"...

I refuse to use Reserve America. Too many things that are not well defined but usually they show the park full when it is not.

Yes, usually due to trees or other obstructions.

Did a Google map search of that site #57 and it appears to be able to handle any slide size. Here is a link (Google Maps) and type in " Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Porter, IN" And then zone in to the campground. Most of the sites in that CG. appear to handle slides. There are a few that a awning might be blocked by a tree, but in general 90% are nice looking with 2-4 trees near each site for a little shade, but not too close.
