Iowa - Pikes Peek State Park?

Planning a fall foliage trip to this Iowa Park and was hoping to get a site recommendation.

Thanks,

It's been years since we stayed there in our 35' motorhome and my memory just isn't that good. For those that have been there more recently I suggest you give a description of your RV, better yet, create a signature with a description. This will help members responding to this and future questions respond with something specific to your needs.

It's a beautiful park with great views. If you can't get in there I suggest you try Wyalusing on the Wisconsin side.

We've stayed at Pikes Peak a few times and I'd recommend the odd numbered sites 29-45. These are back-in along the east side of campground with electric. The west side of the CG is along a gravel road and corn field but they are still nice. Some pull-thru's in the center of the loop.

Beautiful area especially in mid-October.

Thanks guys! I made reservations on campsite #8, it's on the east side closest to the river on the map but I did it blind so we'll see. Sunday to Wednesday in Mid-October so the colors should be at their peek. Hope we're not looking at corn.
