Jackson Rancheria Route ???'s

We will be picking up our new 5er in Boomtown, NV.. great chance to visit Cabela's

The next stop will be Jackson Rancheria. I know nothing about the roads approaching from the North. We will leave Boomtown, head to Reno and then down to 88 and head west until we reach Ridge Road cutoff at Pine Grove. I know 88 well but know nothing about Ridge Road and then the road down to JR.

Anyone able to help here?

Just stay on 88 until you see the turnoff for Jackson Rancheria, can't miss it. Stoplight and gas station at entrance, RV park just a short distance ! No need to take Ridge Road, 88 is better IMHO
We live 25 miles from Jackson, if you have a toad go to Mel's for a burger or whatever! Very good and prices are decent.

Thanks.. called JR and they said the same thing you did.

Is Mel's in town? I'd guess it is

The go across to Main Street and let the wife hit all the shops !!

Looks like you'll be arriving after we leave. I believe our group will be there Tues-Thurs. Don't remember if they are set to leave Fri AM or Thurs.

I'd love to be able to be there for the Rally.. but, have other commitments.

I belong to a group of RV'ing woodcarvers. We visit campgrounds where we have full access to the club rooms. We meet once monthly except for Dec n Jan.

I've never been to JR.. but sounds great.

How about the pool and hot tubs.. open at this time of year?

Well, we did our first shakedown with the new RV at JR and fell in love with that place. It's beautiful. Sites are huge and manicured.. pads are concrete and level. We'll be going back.

And, whodoc.. yep, the pool and tubs were open.. that surprised the heck out of me. A beautiful large pool the was heated to 79 〫.. and NO ONE was in it.. ever.
