Jacksonville Florida Campgrounds.

I am having a trouble finding a campground near Herlong Airport. Anything other than the NAS and the ones north of town? I am going on business, so closer is better. (within 10-15 miles at most)

We like Flamingo Lake Resort, just off 295. Probably about 15-18 miles from Herlong.

Try Pecan Park. All sites are pull through 50 AMP full hookup on a concrete pad. Go to Pecan Park RV Resort | Jacksonville RV Park and read about it. I've stayed there many times.

Flamingo Lake is the closest to Herlong unless you can access Jax NAS

I will be on military orders so I can access NAS, but military bases can be a real PIA at times.

we lived there for many moons
flamingo lakes is upon the north side, pretty good hump to herlong,

I havent been there in a bit
but on Normandy road near chafe road there were some mo and pop cg's

out past the old Cecil field near yellowater was one to.
think the one at cecil field is closed or it may be run by the city
Lamplighter mobile home park, right across the street from herlong also may have a few rv spots for week use
and the air national guard post at the end of the filed used to have a few rv spots set up
but its been a while
