What I nice park. Over 700 acres of park, including a fenced in dog run with water access. The land area in the doggie park could house a football field with stadium seats. Our Husky, Miya, wore herself out today.

The CG is very nice, with gravel roads and sites, but there are some that are widely spaced, but there are some that are "V" configured so you share the driveway. Big deal!! Picnic tables are treated 2x6's and are of a good size. This is a full service park. As we were driving in, my wife said, "Now this is a destination park!"

We've always enjoyed staying there. They added free WiFi last year which was an unexpected treat. If you can, try and go there during the Christmas season....they decorate the park in a very elaborate and unique way.

Certainly a real gem and a great place to use for exploring the Charleston area.

And don't forget shuttle service to Charleston, at least 2 years ago when we were last there.

I agree, this is a great park. Well maintained with lots of walking trail. For the kiddies there are two water parks and the doggie run was a real hit with "scooter". He made a lot of new best friends. Also very convenient to Charleston if you want to drive and they do still have the shuttle.
