January campground South Bend to Indianapolis?

We will be traveling in early January from Michigan south down US31.

Does anyone know of an overnight stop with power between South Bend and Indianapolis?

It will be cold and would prefer not to have to run the generator in a rest stop to keep warm.

Might be tough to find a commercial CG open that time of year. IN state parks are open. Might try Mississinewa Lake SP - that looks to be a halfway point. They've got electric only, 50a pull-thru's.

Many folks stay at a motel the first night or two driving from northern Michigan and other northern areas. You're likely to have near zero temps so why not be comfy and have free use of water?

chiming in...we're doing the same thing only from Chicago. thought about the hotel but the dog and the fact that we're 58' long between the MH and toad complicates that. fairly EZ finding pet friendly hotels but places with large lots...not so much.

Thanks for all your responses. We spent time following up on them. While there are numerous IN Parks, they don’t specifically say whether they are open, are first come first serve, have only electric, and no one can be reached on the phone. It would probably be ok, but…

To be safe and relaxed, we wanted to have a reservation and full services. Using the many internet resources, we finally identified the park below. It is just south of the US 465 loop and only a couple of miles west of US 31.
