Jetty Park Cape Canaveral

I was told by an acquaintance that Jetty Park was a great place to stay. I went to their website and look into availability and rates for a 2-4 week stay this January, the results were "no matching availability" and "Pleas call our sales office." I was wondering what other thought of Jetty RV park and if they are really full for the upcoming winter.

Any Florida State Park that's a popular spot will be booked up tight by now. I guess if you have patients and check every chance you get for an opening you might get lucky, I would say the same chance of winning the Mega Million lottery tonight.

FYI - Jetty Park is not a Florida State Park.

I stayed there in the spring and could only get weekday reservations. The weekends were booked.

They only had 3 full hookup sites avalable at that time.

Like you said it's not a state park but run by the town or county.

They run another park, inland that has nice big, full hookup sites that were avalable, Wickham Park, in Melbourne.

It has a weird reservation map, but helpful people on the phone.

It's a 15 minute drive to a bunch of free beach's.

Pets allowed in the campground, but you can't go to the beach or on the park trails with them. You are supposed to have valid vaccination papers with you to share when you check in.

Nice enough park, fun to watch the cruise ships going out and if you are lucky a rocket launch (and once in a while, submarines)

Robby, finding anything for the full month of January, anywhere near the water, is going to be somewhere between impossible and ain't gonna happen. Those reservations need to be made a year in advance. Finding nice accommodations anywhere south of the I-4 corridor for that month will be a challenge, but probably still doable if you stay after it.

Jetty Park is very nice. Don't rely online. Call them.
