Just spent a couple days at Worlds of Fun and now in Jellystone Campground

Took the kids to Worlds of Fun on Thursday. The campground there, Worlds of Fun Village was nice. Long pull throughs, perfectly level, all concrete and its really clean, but it gives me that Walmart feel. Yes it's ok, but there's absolutely no character. At the park my 7 year old wanted to ride the baddest coaster they had. She did great, I almost hurled though.
Now we are in Lawrence, KS. Thomas the train is in Baldwin City just south of here and I bought tickets months ago for my two boys to ride. Staying at the Jellystone Campground here. Used to be a KOA. So far has been good. The sites are a little close together and it took some leveling but it's got good facilities and other fun stuff. Yesterday they had kids games and an outdoor night movie and the kids got to make their own tie-die t-shirts. Thinking about staying another night just for fun.

Thanks for the post. If you would, please make a review of it in our Campgrounds section (click on link at the top of this page). This way the review will be easily seen by our members at any time. This thread will eventually loose prominence & fall by the wayside as it gets replaced with newer posts.

There is great need for a sarcasm font.
