We are taking a month long trip out west in June and July and have most of our stops figured out. Part of the last leg is traveling from Jefferson CO (west of Denver) to St. Louis MO to spend a day at Six Flags before heading back home to MI.

Trying to find a nice family friendly place about halfway between Denver and St. Louis to spend the night...

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks!!

In case anyone is interested...the trip is 28 days in our "new to us" 99 Damon with the three (16/12/8) kids...a bunch of states and six (?) national parks

Try Ellis, Kansas, which is east of Wakeeney by 18 miles on I-70. They have a great Ellis Campground on the River of Big Creek, dock for fishing very nice and clean. My home town, great half way mark for Denver/K.City..
