Anyone ever stayed at the KARS park near Kennedy Space Center to view a space shuttle launch? I am interested in how the RV section rates for hook ups and such and if the view is good.

Last time we stayed there,10yrs ago,hook-ups were water and electric 30amp with a dump station.

Can't imagine a better place to view a launch, although we never had the opportunity to do so.

I called to ask about access and the Voice on the Phone told me that as long as I could access KSC, I could come to the campground, pay the $15 membership fee and related camping fee and hook up.

No, Air Force reserves chief retired. The 7155 was my REAL job badge number with the CHP (33 years).
