Kentucky expo RV park???

Has anyone stayed here? I have a long weekend trip at the Kentucky expo center. Currently we have a hotel booked at the wonderful tune of over 700 dollars. We are considering taking the RV down. I don't have a tow dolly yet so was hoping to stay close enough to the center that we can walk or a cost friendly uber/cab ride.

I found the expo has their own RV park. The reviews that I have found haven't been all that helpful and make it sound bad.

So I thought I'd come on here and ask if anyone's stayed there before and can shine some light on the place with their experience.

I'm going to be there on a Thursday night and will be souly focused on the expo center as I have a kid who has a tournament there. While the RV will just be a place to sleep and shower between tournaments, it would be nice to not be staying in a really terrible place.

We have attended a few different things at the expo. When we do make the trip down there we always stay at the Ramada in Shelbyville. Its a little bit of a drive but not bad. There is also a very good streak house next door. The Cattleman's. They have awesome food. It is very worth the drive not to pay big city prices.
We never take the camper because my Boss always goes with and he is NOT staying in some camper. He want a "real" bed. So he pays for the rooms.

We have stayed there 3 separate years to attend UL vs FSU football games and think it is not a bad place to "camp"....quiet enough and a few restaurants in walking distance...go for it......C
